Cristina Mittermeier

Mexican marine biologist and photographer world-renowned for her extensive career with National Geographic and as co-founder of the organization SeaLegacy. Cristina focuses on using the power of images to advocate for ocean protection and is also a founder of the International League of Conservation Photographers, Sony Imagery Artisan and, along with her husband Paul Nicklen, has been named one of the National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. He has received many prestigious awards, including the Smithsonian Photographer of the Year Award.
