DOS MARES GALA CONCERT

The funds raised at these events will support the promotion and official designation of the Dos Mares Reserve. This proposed Marine Protected Area (MPA) in Baja California Sur aims to preserve marine biodiversity while respecting the livelihoods of artisanal fishers.

 The region, home to a rich variety of marine life and nine species of whales, will benefit from this protection, which balances conservation with local practices.

 The MPA also highlights the economic importance of the area for Mexico, as it represents a significant portion of the country's industrial fishing, and it can serve as a model for sustainable marine resource management in other areas.
